A+ Learning Centre was founded in 2002 in British Columbia with a simple purpose: to help students build confidence, strengthen understanding, and achieve meaningful academic success. Now serving families across Ontario, we provide personalized tutoring that meets students where they are and guides them to where they need to be.
We believe that every learner is capable of success when given the right support. Our approach begins with understanding how each student learns, identifying their strengths, and creating a plan that allows them to grow with clarity and confidence. Our Founder
Sami Muntaser is a BC certified teacher who has been tutoring since 1996. In 2002, he founded A+ Learning Services, a local, independent tutoring company. He has worked with over 1000 students, including some with learning or developmental challenges. Sami’s experience teaching math to learners from middle school through first-year university has given him the ability to identify typical trouble spots and what parts of the curriculum provide a foundation for higher-level math. He applies those insights in both one-on-one tutoring sessions and in small-group programs he has developed, such as year-end review sessions for Grade 12 math, pre-calculus 12, and Math Foundations for middle school learners. His experience turning that grade around led him to pursue a degree in engineering. In addition to tutoring at A+ Learning, Sami is the math teacher for high school students at the Pacific Soccer Institute in Langford and a Math Teacher on Call at Glenlyon-Norfolk School in Victoria.
